School Rules and Guidelines
At Good Defence School, we believe that discipline, attendance, and proper conduct are essential for a thriving learning environment. These rules ensure the safety, well-being, and holistic development of all our students.
Discipline
Respect for School Property: Every student must demonstrate a strong sense of loyalty and responsibility toward maintaining the school’s environment. Classrooms, corridors, facilities, and open areas must remain clean and intact. Damaging, defacing, or dirtying school property is strictly prohibited and will be treated as a serious offense.
Consequences: Students involved in such acts, along with their guardians, will be held accountable to cover repair or replacement costs. Additionally, severe cases may lead to expulsion.
Truancy: Unauthorized absence from school will not be tolerated and will invite strict disciplinary actions.
Behavior Standards: Students are expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct. The use of indecent language, improper behavior, objectionable comments, or engagement in any inappropriate activities is unacceptable and will result in disciplinary measures.
Attendance
Mandatory Attendance: A minimum of 80% attendance, inclusive of examination and tournament days, is required for promotion to the next class.
Uniform
Dress Code Compliance: Students must wear the prescribed, neat, and tidy school uniform at all times.
Uniform Guidelines:
From Monday to Saturday, students must wear the main school uniform appropriate to the season.
During winter, wearing the school blazer is mandatory for all students.
Additional Note for Girls:
Girls are advised not to wear gold ornaments to school for safety and uniformity.
These guidelines are designed to instill discipline, accountability, and pride in every student. Adhering to them reflects respect for oneself, the school community, and the values we uphold. Together, let’s maintain the excellence and integrity of our school.
